Kids on Camera! “Loud and Clear with Chinese” 开麦拉系列
The “Kids on Camera!” Series is an ongoing program series with different levels of workshops (including interviews, reporting and video creation) that aim to provide children with a supportive social and collaborative language learning experience in which to:
✅ simply speak Mandarin. Be brave. Be wrong. Be better.
✅ learn to express in different tones.
✅ learn to give a speech/presentation in Mandarin.
✅ learn to lead/host an interactive session in Mandarin.
✅ foster positive interaction with other children using Mandarin.
✅ overcome fears and build up confidence speaking Mandarin in public.
The Programme itinerary includes off-site video recordings at Kallang and Chinatown. This is a 2-parts program, compulsory to sign up as a package. See the program writeup for details. This program is suitable for Primary 1 to Primary 6 (7 to 12 years old). Minimum 5 pax per centre; Maximum 16 pax per group.

(Students must bring their own EZLink or student pass with sufficient values.) (Cost includes lunch at Kallang Waves, material used in class, video recordings after class ends, and TEAM Student Care teacher accompanying them throughout the day.)
Trainer’s Profile:
Moon Tan 华华老师@bitsychinese is a producer/director in the local TV entertainment media industry with more than 20 years of experience under her belt and countless experiences working with artistes, local and foreign, in Mandarin. She is a MOE Registered Instructor and a certified international Chinese Teacher, and has also undergone the following training: facilitator training in Mandarin Speech and Drama for kids and a US based music-for-kids program, all of which proved to be useful to her when interacting with children. During her school years, she has received training in stage drama, including language, facial expressions, emotions and body movements. Now she hopes to contribute in her own way to provide platforms to encourage Mandarin speaking.
