Your main job responsibility as a Supervisor is to assist the Management to oversee entire operations, including planning and directing the programme of a student care centre, and to supervise the teachers. The job scope as a Supervisor is defined but not limited to the following:

  • To assist the Management in implementing effective marketing strategies to improve the centre’s students enrolment.
  • To plan and direct the programmes of the student care during school terms and school holidays; including coordinating schedules of enrichment providers.
  • To mentor, the teachers in preparing lesson plans, in conducting class activities, in setting-up various learning corners.
  • To interview and recommend recruitment of teachers or staff; to ensure newcomers are briefed with our Employee Handbook; to mentor and observe newcomers for probation confirmation.
  • To ensure teachers do proper documentation of class activities.
  • To ensure the well-being of the children in the centre, especially their health, safety, hygiene.
  • To mediate and resolve conflicts between students and/or parents.
  •  To organize and conduct Open House and Parent Orientation.
  • To work hand in hand with your staff and Management on project-based assignments (grant application & documentation), and to lend your area of expertise in any seminars or workshops relevant to your professional development.  Therefore, you may need to be involved, from time to time, in small group training sessions with staff within or beyond your centre.
  • To cover the duties of staff in the event of any absentees.

Your main job responsibility as Assistant Supervisor/Senior Teacher is to assist the Supervisor and Management to oversee the entire operations, including planning and directing the programme of a student care centre, and to supervise the teachers. The job scope as Assistant Supervisor/Senior Teacher is defined but not limited to the following:

  • To support the Management in implementing effective marketing strategies to improve the centre’s students enrolment. 

  • To cover Supervisor in his/her absence.

  • To assist Supervisor in planning and directing programmes; in mentoring teachers in their lessons preparation and conducting class activities; in ensuring proper documentation of class activities. 

  • To ensure the well-being of the children in the centre, especially their health, safety, hygiene. 

  • To mediate and resolve conflicts between students and/or parents. 

  • To assist in organizing and conducting Open House and Parent Orientation. 

  • You may need to be involved, from time to time, in small group training sessions with staff within or beyond your centre. 

  • To cover the duties of teachers or assistant teachers in the event of absentees.

Your main job responsibility is to take charge of a particular group of children in the centre. The job scope as a Teacher is defined but not limited to the following: 

  • To work with the Supervisor/Management and teachers in delivering the Curriculum at the centre. 

  • To ensure that lesson/activity plans are prepared on time and all class activities are conducted up to the required standards as deemed by the Curriculum team.  To plan and direct the programme and be involved in the curriculum.

  • To ensure proper documentation of class activities and take photographs of activities for Centre’s use. 

  • To ensure the well-being of the children in the centre, especially their health, safety, hygiene. 

  • To serve as a link with parents by communicating effectively with them. 

  • You may need to be involved, from time to time, in small group training sessions with staff within or beyond your centre. 

  • You may, from time to time, be requested by the Supervisor to cover duties of another teacher or assistant teachers in the event of absentees

Your main job responsibility is to ensure the well-being of the children in the centre, especially their health, safety, hygiene.  The job scope as an Assistant Teacher is defined but not to limited to the following: 

  • To assist the Supervisor and teachers in conducting class activities, setting-up various learning corners and to assist in proper documentation of class activities such as taking photographs. 

  • You may, from time to time, be requested by the Management to perform other tasks or duties including covering the duties of a teacher or assistant teachers in the event of absentees; and may be involved in small group training sessions with staff within or beyond your centre.

Duty of a Cook: 

  • To prepare daily meals for the children and teachers in the centre, as required.

  • To maintain the required standards of hygiene & cleanliness during the daily preparation of food at the centre.

  • You may need to be involved from time to time, in training sessions within or beyond your centre.

  • You may, from time to time, be requested by the Management to perform other tasks or duties, including covering the duties of Cleaner in the event of absentees.

  • Preferably with WSQ Follow Food & Beverage Safety & Hygiene Policies & Procedures Course.

Duty of a Cleaner:

  • To uphold the required standards of hygiene & cleanliness of the premises at all time.

  • To ensure compliance with the daily cleaning of the centre premises, teaching aids and toys etc, as required in the Cleaning Checklist and Guidelines stipulated by centre management and the regulatory authorities, including the prevention of disease/outbreaks guidelines that may affect a student care centre.

  • To provide assistance in taking care of children’s daily routines in the centre, including fetching of children from school/school bus drop off points.

  • You may, from time to time, be requested by the Management to perform other tasks or duties, including covering the duties of assistant teachers.

Your main responsibility is to provide the enrichment programme to children in the centre:

  • To work with the Management in delivering the agreed enrichment programme in the centre.

  • To ensure that enrichment programme material is prepared on time and all programme are conducted up to the required standards with proper documentation and selecting photographs of programme for centre’s publicity use.

  • To ensure regular updates of student’s progress through phone call or meeting with parents.

  • To replace any missed sessions due to medical leave or personal reasons. Programme commitments should be discussed with package agreed.
