The Science Headstart Program is specially for Primary 3 students (2024) to introduce them to Science, a new subject taught to them in 2024. Consists of three days workshop, 1.5 hours per session.

Time: 2.00pm to 3.30pm
T.E.A.M. Student Rate: $135 per pax per course (inclusive of course material)
Public Rate: $160 per pax per course (inclusive of course material)
Minimum 3pax; Maximum 10pax

About
Daphne has many years of experience teaching and planning curriculums for pre-school classes. Her experience in educating her 2 daughters aged 19 and 15 has inspired her to take up and familiarize herself with the Primary School Science Curriculum. Her Science journey with them has provided her with the insights to unlock the potential in young minds and equip students to approach the subject effectively. Teaching Science in T.E.A.M. Student Care for the past years has encouraged her to continue spreading the passion for learning through teaching and mentoring.
Qualification: Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College and Bachelor of Business Administration from National University of Singapore.

Overwhelmed by the Science syllabus at the start of Primary 3, students often don’t know where to begin. This programme aims to pique their interest by exploring the environment we live in and making sense of the world around us through scientific lens. Ultimately, we aim to help students understand why we study science and how science can be useful in our daily lives.
Terms & Conditions
1. T.E.A.M. Student Care centre reserves the right to commence class when there is minimum class size or to suspend class when the number of students falls below minimum class size.
2. In the event, any of the programs is unable to commence, full refund of course fees paid.
3. Cancellation within 10 calendar days before course start date will face 50% penalty. The balance 50% of course fees paid will be refunded before course start date.
4. Cancellation within 5 calendar days before course start date will face 100% penalty. Full course fees will be forfeited.
5. Evidence of COVID-positive infection within 5 calendar days before course start date will be fully refunded.

- I understand that photos and videos taken during class lessons or events may be used by the Centre and/or Enrichment provider for publicity and marketing purposes. I consent to the use of such material whereby my child/children or my family appears in them.
- I also agree that while T.E.A.M. Student Care, together with Enrichment provider, will take necessary precautions to ensure safety and good health of your child, the Centre and the Enrichment provider shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, mishap or accident whatsoever that may occur during classes at the centre premises.
